We understand that superior equipment is imperative to your business success! Lengthen the life of your blades, scissors, clippers and dryers by sending them to us for servicing.
Sharpening is done on factory-approved equipment, known as hollow-ground. This method allows more pressure at the tips of the blade teeth, thus eliminating dragging and jamming of hair. Blades will cut smoother & stay sharp longer. Blades are disassembled, cleaned, and then checked for worn parts. After sharpening, they are dipped in a blade wash, oiled, reassembled and checked for proper tension and alignment.

We offer precise, quality sharpening on all style shears. Are you a "Lefty"? Not a problem. The Clipper Shop specializes in sharpening left handed shears.
We also offer specialty sharpening of higher quality convex edge scissors. Our sharpening methods will bring your convex scissor back to factory quality.

Clippers are fully disassembled and cleaned when serviced. All worn parts are checked and replaced if needed.
*Price excludes replacement parts and return freight charges. If your clippers are not repairable or serviceable, a non-refundable $35 workshop fee will apply. This cost can, however, be offset against a like for like replacement if purchased from The Clipper Shop. Subject to availability.
**NOTE: The Clipper Shop does not service Large Format Animal Clippers e.g. Horse/Cattle large format clippers.
Keep your dryer in top condition. The Clipper Shop services any make or model dryer. All dryers are cleaned and checked for worn parts. Return freight charges are not included.
*Price excludes replacement parts and return freight charges. Although you will not be charged if your dryer is not repairable or serviceable, a non-refundable $45 workshop fee will apply.
**Tornado Dryer service charges include replacement motor. Included dryers: Tornado single and double brushed motor dryers.
***PLEASE NOTE: A Cleaning Surcharge of $20 will be applied to dryer services for each dryer received in poor condition

Service work turnaround is dependent on current workloads. We try to complete service work within 2 weeks of it being received at The Clipper Shop subject to parts availability. Feel free to call us before sending your work to us for a turnaround estimate.
Please note: Afterpay is not available as a payment option for services performed at The Clipper Shop.
Once work is completed, you will receive either a phone call or email notifying you that your job is ready for dispatch. Once we receive payment, then your goods will be sent to you.
